The Client Service Representative (CSR) at Judd Veterinary Clinic provides an exceptional experience to clients during every interaction. The CSR performs administrative tasks such as record maintenance, appointment tracking, and managing practice reception (visitor and telephone). They apply practical knowledge of practice processes, veterinary record requirements, and terminology to ensure every patient is well-cared for and every client has an exceptional experience.

Responsibilities
- Leads practice opening and closing procedures per Practice Manager instructions.
- Ensures all public areas (front desk, reception, waiting area, office, bathrooms, and exam rooms) are clean and presentable.
- Processes cash, checks, charge card payments, and credit account payments.
- Schedules appointments adhering to practice and doctor preferences to ensure appropriate workflow.
- Assists in updating client/patient files as needed.
- Prepares and sends client correspondence and reminder notices for periodic notifications.
- Conducts follow-up calls to clients from a callback list.
- Performs regular computer system backups as directed.
- Posts daily business and oversees its performance.
- Welcomes clients and patients warmly, ensuring an excellent experience during visits.
- Answers incoming telephone calls with proper etiquette.
- Presents clients with medications, instructions, and take-home items.
- Handles emergency situations with care, patience, and adherence to clinic policies.
- Addresses client concerns calmly to ensure satisfaction.
Requirements
- Ability to work on weekends as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous veterinary experience strongly preferred.
- Client satisfaction references preferred.
- Practices OSHA safety techniques, including proper PPE.
