Client Service Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Actively recruit new clients by promoting hospital services
• Route the flow of clients and pets to ensure superior client care
• Maximize the number of pets seen by the hospital team
• Provide professional, efficient, and exceptional service at all times
• Encourage hospital visits, welcome clients and pets, ensure comfort, and educate them about their pet's health
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventative care, pet health needs, and hospital services
• Absorb incoming clients by completing required documentation, entering pet information and history in the computer, utilizing proper collars and tags for identification, and ensuring prompt service
• Absorb outgoing clients by providing necessary instructions, information, and invoices, dispensing prescription items per the veterinarian's instructions, selling retail products, and scheduling future appointments
• Manage finances by maintaining accurate balances and utilizing proper opening and closing procedures
• Conduct administrative functions as necessary

Qualifications

This position requires a current associate status and the ability to work independently. Experience in veterinary medicine is preferred but not required. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a valid driver's license. A background check and drug screening are required for employment.

Skills

Strong communication and customer service skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required. Knowledge of veterinary practices and procedures is beneficial.

Pay

The pay range for this role is $15.00 - $17.70 Hourly. The pay range listed reflects a general hiring range for the area, with the specific rate determined based on the candidate’s experience, skill level, and education, and may vary depending on location or applicable minimum wage laws.
