Client Service Associate (Hybrid Work Option)

About the role

Wealth Enhancement is an independent wealth management firm dedicated to enriching the lives of our clients through personalized financial planning. We operate with a team-based Roundtable and UniFi processes, providing unique financial plans and investment management services to over 90,000 households across 175 offices nationwide since 1997.

Responsibilities

  • New Client Onboarding
    • Ensures accurate completion of prospect / new client paperwork/set up
    • Maintains CRM database and client files
    • Follows up on funds transfer from surrendering company
    • Researches and follows up on issues with the Broker/Dealer, WEG Operations, and vendors
    • Records incoming assets to the appropriate blotting tool
    • Completes account transactions, trades, deposits, withdrawals, RMDs, etc.
    • Completes any review follow-up needs for client
    • May work with client's tax or legal counsel on client concerns
    • Conducts tax research (1099s)
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Dialogues with client to understand their personal history and current financial needs
    • Communicates to the advisor or handles issue resolution
  • Team and Corporate Support
    • Affords assistance to Advisor Team Operations to streamline processes
    • Completes operational projects to support enhancements and changes
    • Communicates process and sales updates to team
    • Manages vendors to Service Level Agreements
  • Industry/Company Knowledge
    • Demonstrates knowledge and accurately executes against WEG’s Suitability Guidelines, operational processes, and sales model
    • Understands financial terminology and products
    • Attends Client Services and company educational events

Requirements

  • 4-year college degree preferred
  • 2+ years' experience within financial services, specifically wealth management firms is required
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software required
  • Familiarity with Salesforce preferred
  • Ability and interest to learn financial concepts and products
  • Ability and interest to work as a team member with deadlines, be flexible under pressure and prioritize work

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $42,500.00 to $50,000.00, exclusive of bonuses and benefits. We encourage you to apply and provide us with your compensation expectations when you do. We’re big on open conversations, so let’s have one.
