About the Role
Bel Air Investment Advisors, an advisory practice of Hightower, is seeking a Client Service/Advisory Associate (CSA) to join their team in Los Angeles. The CSA will play a crucial role in coordinating service and operational functions, acting as a liaison between the advisory team, clients, and internal departments to ensure proper servicing of clients and timely execution of investments.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates the implementation of service and operational functions to ensure proper client servicing and accurate investment execution.
- Acts as a liaison between the advisory team, clients, and internal departments to respond to inquiries and complete operational/product activities.
- Manages the new client process, including meeting preparation, collection of client background information, and coordination of account establishment and transfers.
- Coordinates asset allocation and reallocation processes, including paperwork, account establishment, and investment implementation.
- Provides customer service by responding to inquiries, conducting research, and ensuring completion of service requests.
- Maintains proficiency in investment strategies, services, policies, and procedures to effectively respond to inquiries and complete service requests.
- Solves problems through a strong understanding of operational and firm processes.
- Participates in firm projects and performs other necessary duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Deep experience in a similar role with a Registered Investment Advisor and/or Brokerage Firm.
- Strong understanding of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the industry.
- Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to anticipate needs and provide superior service.
- High energy and ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to perform other tasks as assigned.
- Strong technical skills using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- BA/BS degree in finance or related field preferred.
- U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or unrestricted U.S. work authorization.

Pay
Base salary of $110,000 - $120,000 plus discretionary bonus (exact base salary dependent on experience).
