Client Service Associate
About the role
Join one of Coldstream’s established wealth management teams as a Client Service Associate. You’ll support clients and day-to-day operations while gaining hands-on experience in the Registered Investment Advisor industry. This is an opportunity for someone with professional office experience to develop skills, take on new responsibilities, and build a long-term career in wealth management. The position is located in our South Lake Union office with a hybrid work schedule: in-office Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and remote the remaining days (7:00am - 4:00pm).

Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between clients and custodians/investment managers, managing client information and handling cashiering and money movement requests.
- Schedule and organize client meetings, proactively preparing meeting materials in advance.
- Coordinate the new client onboarding process, including:
- Opening brokerage accounts and establishing cashiering needs.
- Setting up online reporting access.
- Updating cost basis, tracking required minimum distributions, and reconciling account information.
- Sending and receiving documents to clients, their advisors, and investment custodians.
- Enter and maintain client data and activity notes in our CRM system.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of customer service experience with a desire to provide superior client service in a team-oriented environment (finance experience is a plus).
- Interest in building a career in the wealth management industry.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Salesforce CRM and/or Tamarac portfolio accounting (or similar systems) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, including proper grammar and punctuation.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow established processes consistently.
- Strong prioritization skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
- Excellent reliability.
A Bachelor’s degree is preferred due to future career path requirements.
