Client Relationship Manager - Retirement Plan Consultant
About the role
HUB International is a global insurance broker offering a wide range of property, casualty, risk management, life and health, employee benefits, investment, and wealth management products and services. With more than 650 offices across the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico, and over 20,000 employees, HUB serves more than 10,000 retirement plans through its 600 locations. In this role, you will build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with retirement plan clients.
Responsibilities
- Proactively manage relationships with clients and external partners
- Develop strategies to address clients' challenges or goals annually
- Handle multiple client service requests daily via telephone and email
- Present quarterly investment reports to retirement committees as part of 3(21) and 3(38) Investment Fiduciary services
- Collaborate with vendor partners to serve clients effectively
- Support the sales team in identifying potential new customers or additional services
- Review and prepare meeting materials using Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Assist with organizing and supporting client events and special projects
- Participate in a team that aims to grow the client base
Requirements
- Series 65 securities license (or obtain within 60 days of employment)
- Background in retirement plans and investments, including 401(k), 403(b), 457(b), pension, ESOP, and PEPs
- Experience with retirement plan design options and compliance topics
- Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills, comfortable speaking in group settings
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and solve problems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with Sales Force or client management databases (helpful)
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Negligible required travel
- Bachelor's degree (4-year degree)
Benefits
The expected salary range for this position is $105,000 to $135,000, influenced by factors such as the candidate's skills, experience, and location. Comprehensive benefits include health/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, FSA, HSA, and 401(k) accounts, paid time off, and potential annual bonuses, equity, and commissions. This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week in the office.
