Responsibilities
- Engage clients with exceptional service while supporting a wide range of sales and service activities.
- Process routine financial transactions with accuracy and efficiency, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Balance your cash drawer with precise currency and coin handling.
- Consult with clients to understand their needs and introduce products, services, and digital banking tools that support their goals.
- Identify opportunities to expand relationships and make referrals to partners across Commercial Lending, Treasury Management, Mortgage Lending, and Investment Services.
- Proactively communicate with clients to educate, resolve concerns, strengthen loyalty, and gather feedback.
- Hold appointments to identify client needs, provide solutions, and support their financial success.
- Open new accounts, maintain existing accounts, and resolve account issues while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Support branch lending processes by answering questions, completing applications, and preparing accurate documentation.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. (Required).
- Entry-level experience in teller, banking, or sales roles with established goals (Required).
- An equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
Skills
- Enjoy helping clients and excel at building relationships through strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident discussing banking products and services and can recognize opportunities to recommend solutions.
- Skilled at multitasking and can adapt quickly to evolving client and branch needs.
- Basic understanding of retail banking products, policies, and systems.
- Can review financial information, including credit data, to identify client needs and suggest options.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and other business tools.
- Demonstrate professionalism in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Can lift up to 25 pounds as part of the role.

Pay
Targeted starting salary range (based on experience): $20–$27 per hour, plus annual incentive potential.
