Client Relationship Consultant (Banker - multi-level) - (Multiple locations 30-36hrs)
About the role
This role has multiple levels, open to candidates with 3 to 5 years of minimum experience in customer service and sales. The successful candidate will be hired for the level that aligns with their experience. Client Relationship Consultants build relationships with customers by meeting face-to-face and engaging them when and where they need to provide the best possible counsel.
This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. You will be subject to the required registration process, which includes a criminal background and credit check. Failure to meet or maintain any of the NMLS registration requirements, including maintaining a satisfactory criminal and credit record, may result in a rescission of your offer or termination of employment.
Responsibilities
- Build strong client relationships based on trust and assess and attend to customers’ banking needs
- Obtain and process customer and account information
- Educate clients on available deposit and loan products and services
- Recommend financial solutions based on each customer’s unique goals and needs
- Originate and close consumer loans
- Open accounts and open and/or close the branch
Requirements
Client Relationship Consultant 2
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three to four years of customer service experience
- Three to four years of sales experience
Client Relationship Consultant 3
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Four to five years of customer service experience
- Four to five years of sales experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Thorough knowledge of retail product philosophy, policy, procedures, documentation, and systems
- Thorough/advanced knowledge of all retail products and services
- Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
- Experience in participating in sales campaigns/promotions
- Strong mathematical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in the financial services industry preferred
- Experience assisting less experienced personnel (Consultant 2)
- Previous supervisory experience preferred (Consultant 3)
Pay
- Client Relationship Consultant 2: $21 - $23.50 per hour
- Client Relationship Consultant 3: $24 - $28 per hour
The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location.
