U.S. Bank is on a journey to do its best. This role involves building relationships with customers across various channels, providing personalized advice, and opening new accounts.
Responsibilities
- Engage customers in-person, by appointment, and virtually to provide tailored financial advice.
- Build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow-up, identifying and addressing their financial needs.
- Identify and recommend solutions for new and existing clients based on their unique goals and needs.
- Maintain a working knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services, including digital products and services.
- Optimize the client experience by providing a consistent, optimal service and ensuring operational excellence and accuracy.
- Proactively educate clients on emerging and self-service digital products and services to assist with meeting their financial needs.
- Leverage available resources and technologies to enhance the client experience.
Requirements
- NMLS registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z.
- Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow-up.
- Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems.
- Proven customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies.
- Demonstrated basic level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer’s needs both reactively and proactively.
- Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Typically has a minimum of three to four years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training.
