About the role
Sign-On Bonus: $1,500
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with customers via in-person, by appointment, and virtual interactions.
- Engage customers to assess and attend to their banking needs, obtain and process account information, and recommend solutions based on individual goals and needs.
- Identify and present solutions for new and existing clients, effectively communicating with them.
- Maintain a working knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services, including digital offerings.
- Provide a consistent, optimal client experience, including greeting clients and processing basic transactions.
- Develop collaborative partnerships with branch team members and partners to serve clients effectively.
- Open new consumer and business accounts, handle service requests, and submit credit applications.
- Proactively educate clients on emerging and self-service digital products and services.
- Leverage available resources and technologies to optimize the client experience and ensure operational excellence and accuracy.
Requirements
NMLS registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z is required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Typically three to four years of job-related retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training.
- Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow-up.
- Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems.
- Proven customer service and interpersonal skills, including experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies.
- Demonstrated basic level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer needs both reactively and proactively.
- Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
