Job Description: Build strong client relationships, engage customers via various channels, and recommend suitable products and services.
Responsibilities
- Build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow-up
- Engage and communicate effectively with clients to understand their financial needs
- Identify and recommend solutions based on clients' unique goals and needs
- Maintain a consistent optimal client experience by greeting clients and processing basic transactions
- Develop collaborative partnerships with branch team members and partners to serve clients
- Open new consumer and business accounts, handle service requests, and submit credit applications
- Proactively educate clients on digital products and services to assist with meeting their financial needs
- Leverage available resources and technologies to optimize the client experience and ensure operational excellence and accuracy
Requirements
NMLS registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z is required. You will be subject to a criminal background and credit check.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Typically 3-4 years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
- Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow-up
- Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
- Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems
- Ability to explore and identify a customer's true needs while leveraging a digital-first mindset
- Demonstrated basic level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer's needs both reactively and proactively
- Experience in the financial services industry preferred
