About the role

This position involves building and fostering relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up, engaging and communicating with clients, and providing advice on various banking products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up
  • Engage and communicate with clients
  • Identify and recommend solutions based on clients' needs
  • Provide a consistent optimal client experience
  • Explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset
  • Make appropriate recommendations that meet customer’s needs both reactively and proactively
  • Participate in sales campaigns/promotions
  • Leverage available resources and technologies to optimize the client experience

Requirements

  • NMLS registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z
  • Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up
  • Proven ability to engage and communicate with clients
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems
  • Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems
  • Thorough knowledge of all retail products and services
  • Experience in participating in sales campaigns/promotions
  • Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies
  • Demonstrated advanced level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer’s needs both reactively and proactively
  • Experience in the financial services industry preferred

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Typically has a minimum of one to five years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
  • Preferred Skills/Experience: Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up; thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems; proven customer service and interpersonal skills; experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies; ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset; demonstrated advanced level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer’s needs both reactively and proactively; experience in the financial services industry preferred

Pay

$20.00 - 23.00 U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
