Client Relations Manager

About the Role

This position is responsible for management of all client relations activities for companies contracted by Access Nurses Medical Call Center, including serving as the main contact for facility start-ups, client relationships, and developing new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains positive business relationships with key client personnel.
  • Ensures the resolution of client-based problems, including clinical issues, customer service, billing, and operational concerns.
  • Meets with clients prior to contract signing to discuss operational aspects of services and new account setup.
  • Responsible for all new contract arrangements and set-up operations.
  • Renegotiates and renews contracts as needed, overseeing necessary amendments.
  • Communicates with clients at least biweekly (via phone, email, site visit, or mail) to address needs, concerns, and profile revisions.
  • Reviews and distributes requested reports to clients in a timely manner.
  • Participates in sales presentations, including development, delivery, and follow-up.
  • Performs special projects as assigned by the Vice President of Access Nurse.
  • Conducts operative reviews with senior management to facilitate strategic planning and problem prevention.
  • Performs client services duties, including routine and as-needed on-site visits to resolve issues proactively.
  • Participates in call center activities such as goal development, problem-solving, decision-making, and supporting corporate decisions.
  • Communicates risk management issues to the Vice President.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing preferred but not required.
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Tennessee if applicable.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in healthcare administration and sales/service coordination preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical/clinical language and terminology.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Ability to handle stress and conflict.
  • Experience managing and directing others.
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel, sometimes overnight.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
