Client Operations Supervisor
Barry’s is the original strength and cardio interval fitness experience, founded in West Hollywood in 1998. Our classes alternate between working out with weights and running on a treadmill, focusing on different muscle groups each day to tone muscle, maximize fat loss, and spike metabolism for up to 48 hours post-class.
About the Role
As a Client Operations Supervisor, you’ll be the first point of contact for Barry’s, leading exceptional hospitality and daily operations. You will support the Senior/General Manager and Assistant General Manager with marketing initiatives, team development, brand standards, and studio facility maintenance. Your role includes fostering a strong Barry’s community through outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Lead on-duty operations, ensuring seamless class check-ins, studio opening, and closing in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Support management of studio staff on duty and develop cooperative relationships with clients and staff.
- Assist with studio marketing strategy, including acquisition tactics, client/community initiatives, studio engagement, and corporate outreach.
- Manage fuel bar and retail inventory control and counts.
- Partner with leadership to implement and execute hospitality processes, ensuring consistent team training and skill development.
- Train and develop team members to uphold Barry’s mission, vision, values, and hospitality standards.
- Oversee milestone, loyalty, and surprise-and-delight programs to drive community and retention.
- Manage studio systems (Zendesk, Brandbot) to resolve or escalate client matters promptly.
- Assess client needs, maintain service quality, and communicate studio promotions or events.
- Lead internal and external communication effectively.
- Maintain brand standards and studio facilities, including laundry, Red Room maintenance, locker room cleaning, and overall studio cleanliness.
- Conduct weekly studio facilities walk-throughs and audits with leadership.
- Deliver retail and fuel bar customer service, including pre/post-class orders and merchandising.
- Uphold Barry’s community and culture standards, representing the brand within the studio and fitness community.

- Availability to work 5 shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Pay
$25 per hour (East 64th location).
