Client Opening - Senior Accountant

Corrigan Krause is assisting their client, Diskin Enterprises, LLC, in the search for a permanent Senior Accountant located in Garrettsville, OH. This role supports the company's financial and administrative areas while offering a clear path for growth through direct collaboration with the Vice President.

Responsibilities

• Support and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Assist with sales tax, workers’ compensation, and other compliance filings
• Maintain the general ledger and reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis with leadership
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting procedures and internal controls
• Collaborate with the Vice President and Controller on special projects and quarterly reporting
• Develop a deep understanding of company operations and take on increasing responsibility with the goal of transitioning into the Controller role over time

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field strongly preferred
• 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Experience with Global Shop Solutions or similar software a plus
• Excel and Word proficiency required
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Desire and capacity to grow into a leadership role
• Ability to take and pass a background check

Pay

Compensation typically ranges from $70,000–$85,000, offered as a comprehensive package with opportunity for growth.
