About the role

Oswald Companies seeks goal-driven professionals ready to take their career to the next level. A Day in The Life includes servicing an assigned book of business, serving as the main point of contact for clients, preparing and submitting policy change requests, and maintaining client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Service an assigned book of business, responding to all service requests and ensuring timely delivery of change documents to clients.
  • Maintain accurate account files and confirm communications with clients, carriers, and other parties.
  • Prepare and submit policy change requests, monitor status, and ensure timely delivery of change documents.
  • Make recommendations for updating and enhancing policy contracts through an annual insurance review process.
  • Prepare Stewardship & Insurance Summary reports for clients.
  • Manage renewal and remarketing processing, including preparation of applications, negotiation with underwriters, obtaining quotes, and following up to delivery of policy documents.
  • Identify and process coverage enhancements and cross-sales opportunities on an annual basis.
  • Resolve client and/or carrier accounting issues, collections, discrepancies, fee arrangements, and billing controversies.
  • Serve the Practice Leader, Team Leader, Client Executive, and Sales Executive staff in the development and implementation of the Oswald Companies client service deliverables.
  • Attend client meetings as necessary.
  • Stay current with industry updates, carrier appetites, and underwriting capabilities to ensure optimal program placement and pricing negotiations.
  • Maintain favorable and productive relationships with underwriters to achieve best-in-class service for clients.
  • Achieve further education and skills development opportunities to obtain professional designations in the personal risk field of expertise.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Risk Management and 3 to 5 years or more of related experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior Property & Casualty support experience.
  • Prior Property & Casualty client management experience.
  • Property & Casualty License.
