Client Manager

The ideal candidate for this position must possess a passion for the art, furniture, and fine art logistics industry, along with excellent communication and project management skills. This Client Manager role requires a dynamic professional who can provide exceptional customer service and manage projects efficiently.

About the Role

This role involves fostering strong client relationships, coordinating internal and external resources, and managing various aspects of client services including international shipping compliance, planning, pricing, and execution. The successful candidate will also assist with commercial invoices for exports and imports, monitor email communication, and provide general customer service.

Responsibilities

• Create and generate all project documentation and work with internal departments and external vendors to execute service requests.
• Cook up and coordinate the delivery/pick-up of customer property in collaboration with Specialists, Customer Service, and Warehouse personnel.
• Utilize a consultative approach to develop an estimate addressing the client's business needs.
• Avoid errors in estimates, work orders, and invoices, ensuring they are clear, accurate, and chronologically ordered.
• Create and review invoices for accuracy and ensure they are approved promptly.
• Develop relationships with shipping vendors, obtain and compare quotes, and select the most cost-effective option.
• Troubleshoot problematic shipments and research missing inventory.
• Review and approve all freight invoices.
• Assist with commercial invoices for exports and imports.
• Maintain a positive and responsive attitude towards email communication and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
• Provide general customer service, including answering phones and directing clients and calls.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in project management or international shipping coordination.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or distribution.
• Extremely detail-oriented and skilled in time management.
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Exceptional diligence and attention to detail.
• Strategic thinker with proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.

Benefits

At AirSea Packing Group, LLC, we offer competitive compensation and benefits. The salary range for this position is $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year, with a flexible start date of employment (DOE).
