Client Finance Manager
Oversee a group of clients or a strategic client
Develop productive, supportive relationships with key stakeholders (financial leadership, client team, and operations partners)
Review team members' financial reports
- Ensure quality, timeliness, audit compliance
- Audit competencies
Track team compliance with department SOC 1 audit controls
- Approve banking or financial transactions
- Schedules, and reports in accordance with best practice policy and procedures
Monitor account health and other metrics
- Manage remediation as needed
Direct new scope onboarding
- Coordinate with account leadership and clients
Assess team/department workflows and policies
- Recommend or implement improvements in operating efficiencies and effectiveness
Manage team performance
- Available capacity
- Training needs
- Conducts one-on-one meetings

- Address deficiencies timely and professionally
Develop direct reports
- Goal setting
- Mid-year and year-end performance reviews

Lead departmental projects

Supervisory Responsibilities
- Leads/Assigns/Delegates tasks to Sr. Client Accountants, Client Accountants, and/or Interns
- Coordinates efforts of project team to complete work within project deadlines
- Provides solutions to routine/complex problems
- Directs reports may include Sr. Client Accountants, Client Accountants, and/or Interns
Education/Experience/Training
- College degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
- Requires five to seven years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Specialized Knowledge/Skills
- Strong knowledge of Yardi and Workday software preferred
- Strong MS Office Proficiency
- Financial reporting for multiple entities preferred
- Strong customer service, time management, and organizational skills
- Exceptional delegation skills with the ability to be a hands-on contributor and take initiative
- Ability to train, mentor and coach others effectively
- Results oriented with strong sense of urgency

Pay
The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The compensation for the position is: $ 102,000.00 - $120,000.00
