Client Finance Billing Analyst
About the role
The Billing Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day invoicing activity of an assigned client portfolio, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of billing data related to the client’s relocation program. This role focuses on timely and accurate invoicing of all expenses and managing month, quarter, and year-end processes. The Specialist supports queries from clients or internal teams (e.g., Collections, Account Management) and serves as a resource for tax and expense-related questions.
This position interacts daily with the Client Service delivery team and may engage with a client’s internal/external accounting and global mobility teams.
Responsibilities
- Prepare client invoicing, including required reports and reconciliations, and document reasons for unbilled items per scheduled due dates. Escalate obstacles that consistently prevent billing (80%).
- Respond to billing-related queries from clients and internal teams, facilitate resolutions, communicate inconsistencies/errors to processing teams, and update training or client guides (15%).
- Support billing-related projects or other client support initiatives as directed by leadership. Process urgent payment requests when required (5%).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a team-driven, deadline-oriented environment.
- Financial/accounting knowledge preferred.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
Pay
Salary range: $40,000.00 – $59,000.00 USD. Ranges may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and qualifications. Final compensation will be determined during the hiring process.
