Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Sage Intacct and related financial system solutions.
  • Lead discovery sessions to understand client business processes, financial workflows, reporting needs, and system requirements.
  • Design and recommend scalable Intacct configurations and best-practice solutions aligned with client objectives.
  • Manage and support Intacct implementation, optimization, and enhancement projects from requirements gathering through deployment.
  • Analyze existing accounting and operational processes and identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and system improvement.
  • Configure Intacct modules, dimensions, workflows, dashboards, custom reports, and integrations.
  • Provide strategic consulting on financial management best practices, system controls, and reporting capabilities.
  • Translate complex accounting and technical concepts into clear recommendations for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead client workshops, presentations, training sessions, and solution demonstrations.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, business requirements, process maps, configuration guides, and training materials.
  • Stay current on Sage Intacct product releases, new features, enhancements, and industry best practices.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations.
  • Monitor client adoption and recommend continuous improvement opportunities to maximize system value.
  • Maintain a high level of client satisfaction through proactive communication, consultative guidance, and relationship management.

Qualifications

  • Sage Intacct Implementation Specialist, Certified Consultant, or similar certification preferred.
  • 4+ years of Sage Intacct consulting, implementation, or financial systems experience.
  • Experience with ERP implementations, system integrations, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience leading client-facing projects and managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to manage multiple client engagements and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, consolidations, and month-end close processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, OneDrive, etc.).
  • Ability to operate effectively in a remote environment.
