Chilton Trust (“CTC”) is a private wealth management firm launched in 2010 by Richard L. Chilton Jr. CTC offers full-service, bespoke private wealth management services, including asset allocation advice, management of separate portfolio accounts, tax advice, trust and estate planning, and family office services. CTC has offices in Charlotte, Charlottesville, Connecticut, Delaware, Naples, New York, and Palm Beach.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with senior wealth advisors to coordinate all necessary resources to provide clients with wealth and investment services, including collaboration with clients’ teams of advisors (i.e., accountants, lawyers, etc.).
  • Analyze client data and prepare reports, presentations, and financial plans.
  • Coordinate preparation for client meetings, complete follow-up, and support clients on an ongoing basis by working directly with client relationship teams.
  • Coordinate with Business Services and Reporting teams to ensure proper execution of daily tasks, cash management, disbursements, account funding, subscriptions, and redemptions.
  • Coordinate with the Business Services team on new client on-boarding procedures to ensure a smooth and timely transition to the investment advisory platform.
  • Assist in preparing Investment Policy Statements and regularly monitor compliance with proposed asset allocation.
  • Process annual account reviews and various audit requests.
  • Help maintain marketing materials and prepare prospective client presentations, including requests for proposals.
  • Update the Contact Relationship Management database with all client communications and interface with clients to obtain information as needed.
  • Help prepare asset allocation modeling for clients and prospects.
  • Provide support on various ad-hoc tasks, such as firm-sponsored events for clients, prospects, and partners, and assist other departments as needed.
  • Promote the mission of Chilton Trust by fostering cooperative, collegial relations in all activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
  • 5-7 years of work experience in a wealth management firm or family office services setting.
  • Accreditation such as CFP or CTFA is a plus.
  • Exceptional client service and relationship management skills.
  • Experience executing investment transactions in client portfolios including public securities, hedge funds, private equity, and real estate.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial planning concepts.
  • Familiarity with trust, estate, and tax planning issues.
  • Clear and concise oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience or proven interest in trust administration.
  • Desire to work within a team-based environment.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills using critical thinking.
  • Motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about working in wealth management.
