Client Accounting Services Senior Accountant

A growing regional public accounting firm is expanding its Client Accounting Services Group and is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the team in Wakefield, MA. This is an excellent opportunity for a public accounting professional who enjoys working directly with clients and wants broader exposure beyond traditional audit and tax. The Senior Accountant will work across a diverse client base, take ownership of accounting engagements, and help build and grow the firm’s CAS / Advisory practice. $90,000–$130,000 Hybrid – Wakefield, MA Job Description Provide outsourced accounting and client accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clientsManage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including reconciliations and journal entriesPrepare and review financial statements and management reportingAssist clients with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cash flow analysisWork directly with client management to identify accounting issues and provide recommendationsSupport accounting system implementations, process improvements, and the continued growth of the CAS / Advisory practice Job Requirements: 3–7 years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting experience strongly preferredStrong understanding of GAAP and financial reportingExperience with month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statementsClient-facing experience with strong communication and relationship-building skillsAbility to manage multiple clients and competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentCPA preferred but not required; experience with accounting software and technology is a plus All interested and qualified candidates, please send a resume to Owen Borek – oborek@kbwfinancial.com KBW789
