Client Accounting Senior

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of accounting principles and techniques to complete assignments in a timely manner with normal supervision
• Understands and follows prior year work papers and journal entries
• Maintains and updates accounting records and files
• Conducts month-end and year-end closures
• Prepares documents for audits and/or tax
• Follows through on responsibilities and takes ownership of assignments
• Communicates professionally and promptly to clients

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field (required)
• 3-5 years of public accounting experience (preferred)
• CPA eligible (preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (required)
• Organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize multiple assignments
• Strong accounting skills (required)
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills (required)
