Client Accounting Advisor

We are expanding our e-commerce practice and looking for an experienced Client Accounting Advisor to join our team. Duties and ResponsibilitiesAs a Client Accounting Advisor, you'll serve as a trusted financial partner to multiple e-commerce clients, overseeing day-to-day accounting while advising on the financial decisions that drive their growth. Key Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day accounting operations for assigned clientsOversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and cash flowPrepare and review weekly, bi-weekly, and/or Month-End Financial Statements and ForecastsReconcile General Ledger activity and ensure data accuracyBuild and maintain client relationships through proactive, advisory-level communicationAnalyze financial trends and advise clients on opportunities for growth and efficiencyAdvise clients on COGS, contribution margin, inventory valuation, and unit economicsRecommend and help implement automation tools and process improvementsWork with software like QuickBooks Online, A2X, Shopify, Amazon Seller Central integrations, and Fathom QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field5+ years of experience in public accounting or similar roleE-Commerce accounting experience preferred (DTC, marketplace, or subscription models)Knowledge of GAAP (CPA license a plus)Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skillsStrong communication skills and client-facing confidenceHighly organized, analytical, and detail-orientedExperience with inventory accounting, COGS management, sales tax nexus (Avalara/TaxJar), or payment platform reconciliation (Stripe, PayPal, Shopify Payments) is a plusFamiliarity with QuickBooks Online & Bill.com required BenefitsFlexible work options: US Remote or hybrid in Tampa, FL401(k) with company matchHealth, Dental, and Vision insuranceProfessional development supportGenerous paid time offUncapped CommissionsWork in a growth-oriented, supportive, and innovative firm
