About the role

The Client Account Manager at Northpointe Bank supports the First Lien Sweep HELOC portfolio through investor relationship management, operational coordination, reporting oversight, and client service excellence. This role is ideal for a relationship-focused professional who enjoys working with clients, coordinating across departments, and driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong operational relationships with assigned investors and clients
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for servicing-related requests, inquiries, and issue resolution
  • Coordinate recurring client and investor meetings and facilitate ongoing communication
  • Manage monthly client reporting and operational deliverables
  • Cover requests related to servicing performance, portfolio activity, and operational metrics
  • Maintain reporting accuracy and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
  • Coordinate remittance coordination and reconciliation activities
  • Aid in monitoring servicing-related invoices, billing activity, and contractual obligations
  • Partner with Accounting, Loan Servicing, Default, Compliance, and other teams to support client needs
  • Research and resolve reporting, remittance, and invoicing discrepancies
  • Support operational projects, process improvements, and portfolio growth initiatives
  • Participate in implementation of new reporting, servicing, and client management processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in mortgage servicing, investor reporting, servicing operations, account management, or related financial services functions
  • Experience supporting investor relationships, client reporting, remittance activities, or operational relationship management preferred
  • Familiarity with mortgage servicing operations and investor servicing requirements preferred
  • Strong relationship management and customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
