Client Account Manager - Air Quality focused

About the role

AECOM is seeking an experienced and driven Client Account Manager - Air Quality focused with expertise in air quality compliance (permitting, stack testing, ambient air monitoring) and account management to support business growth and client engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business strategies to expand AECOM’s air quality compliance services.
• Maintain and grow existing client relationships while identifying new opportunities in the public and private sectors.
• Leverage an existing book of clients to generate sales and secure high-value environmental projects.
• Work closely with internal teams to develop and present proposals, technical solutions, and service offerings.
• Negotiate contracts and service agreements to align with client needs and financial objectives.
• Provide industry insight and stay updated on air quality regulations, compliance standards, and emerging trends.
• Support cross-business collaboration to provide integrated environmental solutions across multiple sectors.
• Meet or exceed sales targets while contributing to the long-term strategic vision of AECOM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, business, or related field.
• 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education in managing client accounts, sales and drive business development within air quality compliance services.
• Travel of 25-50% will be required, as this is a client facing role.
• Valid US Driver's License and pre-employment driving record verification are required.
• Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required.
