Position Summary
This is a non-exempt administrative and professional position which entails performing specific staff projects or assignments of routine complexity.
Responsibilities
- Investigating situations, issues, and proposed courses of action.
- Serving as the unit owner's relations representative for the Housing Choice Voucher Department.
- Gathering, organizing, evaluating, and summarizing information relevant to assigned tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in federally assisted property management, HUD HCV programs, or real estate is highly desirable.
Duties And Responsibilities outside of the Essential Functions
- Knowledge of accepted office practices and skill in applying these to assigned duties.
- Knowledge of research and investigation tools and techniques.
- Skill in use of PC with word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and persons in authority.
- Ability to deal effectively with situations that require tact and diplomacy, yet firmness.
- Ability to create a customer service satisfaction atmosphere.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of individuals and groups, sometimes in stressful situations.
- Skilled in bringing closure to routine issues or issues that have already been properly and finally determined.
Other Duties And Responsibilities
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Knowledge of business grammar, math, spelling, good vocabulary, and skill in applying these to the business setting.
- Skilled in developing and presenting oral and written presentations and responses.
- Ability to work effectively on multiple assignments, prioritizing activities appropriately, and meeting deadlines.
Salary
$20.50 per hour
