Responsibilities

  • Clerical Typing: Prepare various letters, forms, and court documents related to services provided by the agency based on information from caseworkers and supervisors
  • Document Management: Make any photocopies needed, scan and upload documents, and file case materials and correspondence
  • Data Entry: Input medical, educational, and demographic information into recordkeeping systems, databases, charts, and spreadsheets and ensure it is recent and accurate
  • Form Processing: Send required reports to law enforcement; complete forms for requesting county assistance office action, reporting adoption and foster care data, and HealthChoices enrollment

Qualifications

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Six months as a Clerk Typist 1 and educational development to the level of eighth grade; or Completion of a high school business curriculum which included at least one typing course; or Any combination of equivalent experience and training.

Legal Requirements: This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law. Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.

Pay

Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Schedule

Full-time employment. Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
