PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Covers the daily operations of the company stockroom, providing a variety of products used by the team.
- Ensures organization and accuracy of pricing and inventory through cycle counts, spot checks, and quarterly inventory counts.
- Secures the work area, manages inventory levels, and prioritizes equipment needs.
- Aids in pulling parts for staff and ensures all distributed parts are accounted for.
- Enters material requisitions and identifies excess stocking levels, trends, and obsolete items.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education And Experience
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Successfully completed and passed forklift safety training.
- Previous inventory control experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills – using MS Outlook Mail, MS Word, and Excel.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Experience in the food/beverage industry or manufacturing/production environment preferred.
- Consultative, influential, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- Frequent: Ability to talk and hear; ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, bend, and/or crouch; push/pull; lift up to 50 pounds; use of hands and fingers to operate machinery/equipment and all manual and electronic equipment in the area of responsibility.
- Occasional: Squatting, kneeling, ability to reach above and at shoulder height.
- Ability to wear a dust mask, and perform Confined Entry using LOTO program.
- Exposure to toxic and corrosive chemicals.
- Vision: Ability to use close and distance vision, as well as color and peripheral vision with or without correction.
- Ability to visually detect obstacles and potential dangers in a fast-paced production environment involving high-speed equipment and powered industrial lift equipment.
- Hearing: Ability to hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
- Exposure to noise levels from pumps, machinery, forklift traffic, bottle lines, and exhaust fans.
PAY RANGE
Pay Range for this position is: $18.14-$27.22 plus annual bonus, depending on experience.
