Clerk, Inventory Control

Duties/Responsibilities

• Controls inventory movement and processes inventory adjustments to ensure accurate inventory records.
• Maintains accurate inventory data within the inventory management system.
• Cycles counts and assists with physical inventory audits.
• Reviews and documents inventory transfers, receipts, and shipments.
• Works with operations and warehouse personnel to resolve inventory-related issues and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Ensures inventory integrity through accurate tracking, movement control, adjustment processing, and discrepancy resolution.

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of related experience required.

Physical Requirements

• Required to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and squatting while performing inventory counts and inspections.
• Lifts, carries, pushes, and pulls up to 25-50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Operates warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, barcode scanners, and computers.
• Climbs stairs and ladders as needed to access inventory locations.
• Performs repetitive hand, wrist, and finger movements for data entry and scanning activities.
• Visually inspects inventory, reads labels, and distinguishes product numbers and codes.
• Works in warehouse and manufacturing environments with varying temperatures, noise levels, and exposure to dust.
