Duties/Responsibilities
- Controls inventory movement and processes inventory adjustments to ensure accurate inventory records.
- Maintains accurate inventory data within the inventory management system.
- Cycles counts and assists with physical inventory audits.
- Reviews and documents inventory transfers, receipts, and shipments.
- Works with operations and warehouse personnel to resolve inventory-related issues and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Ensures inventory integrity through accurate tracking, movement control, adjustment processing, and discrepancy resolution.
Education And Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of related experience required.
Physical Requirements
- Required to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and squatting while performing inventory counts and inspections.
- Lifts, carries, pushes, and pulls up to 25-50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Operates warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, barcode scanners, and computers.
- Climbs stairs and ladders as needed to access inventory locations.
- Performs repetitive hand, wrist, and finger movements for data entry and scanning activities.
- Visually inspects inventory, reads labels, and distinguishes product numbers and codes.
- Works in warehouse and manufacturing environments with varying temperatures, noise levels, and exposure to dust.
Skills/Abilities
