About the role
The Summit Center is Western New York's leading provider of evidence-based services for children and adults with autism and other developmental, social, and behavioral challenges. Our team is dedicated to helping every individual we serve achieve their highest level of independence.
Responsibilities
- Provide coverage of shifts for planned and unplanned time off on short notice at various locations.
- Accurate and timely performance of clerical and administrative duties.
- Generate and maintain confidential files, reports, and records.
- Respond to telephone/fax inquiries of a routine nature.
- Exhibit a working knowledge of agency policies, practices, and procedures while relieving agency staff and other clerical personnel of administrative duties.
- General clerical duties such as data entry, providing receptionist duties for the agency at various Summit locations, processing information for individuals served.
- Adhere to The Summit Center Core Agency Values of Adaptability, Accountability, Collaboration, Integrity, Optimism, and Respect.
- Adhere to The Summit Center employment policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook including, but not limited to dress code, attendance and punctuality, and Paid Time Off.
- Any other duties as requested by your supervisor.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
Qualifications
- Must be able to type, with minimal errors.
- Some knowledge of business machines and general clerical activity is desirable.
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel - Basic Applications.

Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (typically).
