Duties & Responsibilities Purpose of Position: This class of positions encompasses clerical related office activities utilizing manual and automated office systems; duties may include supervision of employees performing routine tasks appropriate to each Assignment Level. All personnel perform related work. Under supervision, with latitude for independent judgment, performs one or more of the following: Examples Of Typical Tasks Supervises personnel performing data processing functions in the areas of data entry, data control/coding, production control. Under the direction of the unit head, assists in supervising personnel performing responsible clerical and related activities by processing, recording, financial counseling, checking, and maintaining records, furnishing information, and preparing reports. Minimum Qualifications A high school diploma or its educational equivalent; and Six (6) months of full-time satisfactory clerical experience and/or experience interacting with the public, such as processing sales; taking, processing, and delivering orders; obtaining and dispensing information; listening to and resolving customers concerns, problems, and complaints; and/or performing related customer service activities. Department Preferences Prior EPIC H2O Registration, Billing and Collections and/or Financial Counseling experience. Valid Certified Application Counselor Certification (CAC) preferred. Windows Office Suite. Keyboard familiarity with the ability to type at a minimum of 100 key strokes (20 words) per minute. Excellent Customer Service skills required i.e. ICARE, communication and problem solving.
