Job Summary
The NICU Milk Tech/Clinical Assistant (NMT) is located within Maternal Child Health Nursing Division and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Job Description
- Responsible for the preparation and delivery of all infant feedings.
- Works day/evening and night shifts and weekends on a rotational basis, as needed.
- Utilizes safe and sanitary preparation methods.
- Demonstrates respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.
Education, Credentials, Licenses
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Successful Completion of Milk Technician Competency.
Specialized Knowledge
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer literate.
