Cleared Software Developer

About the role

The role requires a current/active U.S. DoD clearance with Top Secret (SCI preferred) clearance. TS-Cleared applicants only need apply. The position is located at Offutt AFB ON-SITE.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions
• Design software and customize software for client use
• Optimize operational efficiency
• Analyze and design databases within an application area
• Work closely with other software developers to complete necessary software on schedule
• Solve complex problems through innovative and creative solutions
• Collaborate with software designers and/or software engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of software systems

Requirements

• Journeyman: High school diploma with 6 years of software development experience OR Bachelor of Science degree in STEM with 2 years of software development experience OR Master of Science degree in a STEM field with 0 years of software development
• Sr/Principal: High school diploma with 9 years of software development experience OR Bachelor of Science degree in STEM with 5 years of software development experience OR Master of Science in a STEM field with 3 years of software development experience

Qualifications

• Full Stack Software Development
• Demonstrated experience in Java
• Proven experience with Windows OS
• Familiarity with relational database management systems (Oracle/PDBs) and SQL
• Working knowledge of the Agile development processes
• Familiarity with Test automation practices and tools (Integration testing, Unit testing, QFTest)
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with small technical teams
• Ability to prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish project results

Skills

• Experience working in Agile software development environment
• Experience with Enterprise Database
• DevOps / DevSecOps experience
• Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Deployment (CD) setting up Jenkins Builds
• Demonstrated use of Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) and configuration management (SVN/Bitbucket)
