About the role

As a Cleared Security Officer Access Control in Westminster, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. This part-time role allows you to build a flexible schedule and explore new opportunities using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, agile, and innovative team.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery entry procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel as directed.
• Assist with maintaining a professional presence to deter unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and other security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
