Clearance Lead

Job Description The Clearance Lead is responsible for real time analysis, assisting with the coordination and balancing of DC Shipping operations, and assisting in the balancing of man power for all areas. This role assigns picking/loading tasks for all production employees, supports the Shipping Supervisor to ensure all tasks flow smoothly for the production crew, accurately records and reports the truck/trailer numbers for outgoing deliveries, and supports the Shipping Supervisor to ensure all End of day (EOD) tasks are completed. This position reports to the Shipping Supervisor. Job Responsibilities Responsible for real time analysisAssists with the coordination and balancing of DC Shipping operationsAssists in the balancing of man power for all areasAssigns picking/loading tasks for all production employeesSupports the Shipping Supervisor/ManagerRecords/reports the truck/trailer numbers for outgoing deliveriesProvides support in reporting, researching and resolving issues that occur in the interface between host system and WMS in a timely mannerEnsures all tasks are completed accurately and on timeProvides administrative support for the Shipping SupervisorDevelops and maintains a working knowledge and understanding of all needed systemsPerforms additional duties as requestedSupport Picking and Loading operations as neededDecision Making Responsibilities:Under direct supervision of the DC Shipping Supervisor, work is performed within standard policies and procedures with opportunity for un-reviewed decision-makingFinancial Responsibilities:This position does not have any direct financial responsibilitiesSupervisory Responsibilities:This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities. Provides information and support to production staff Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent experience in a Warehouse atmosphereStrong verbal and written communication and organizational skillsSkilled at multi-tasking and managing competing prioritiesDetail oriented and accurateDemonstrated ability to quickly recognize and diagnose trend and patterns in productivity dataWorking knowledge of Word and ExcelMust be able to work flexible hours determined by the needs of the department including weekends and evenings Preferred Qualifications Advanced computer skillsWorking knowledge of SAP and Red Prairie Expected Base Pay Not Including Potential Commissions, Incentive, Bonus, etc. Opportunities: Starting at $24.39 an hour!
