Cleanroom Technician

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is a leading provider of facility services, serving over 2 billion square feet of space daily. We are seeking a Cleanroom Technician to join our dynamic Janitorial Services Team. Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, degumming, and spot cleaning
• Clean and maintain furniture, walls, glass, mirrors, fixtures, machines, and other equipment
• Gather and empty trash
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms
• Move furniture, light fixtures, or other items manually or with a hand truck
• Extract carpet (small jobs)
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment according to instructions
• Prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications
• In healthcare settings, change out sharp containers and dispose of medical waste
• Maintain building security and safety during operating hours
• Report facility issues requiring repairs to appropriate managers

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds
• Walking in and around the facility frequently throughout the shift
• Standing and walking for up to 10-12 hours
• Reading and interpreting safety rules, operating instructions, and chemical handling sheets
• Familiarity with cleaning best practices
• Ability to prioritize work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• General familiarity with cleaning best practices
• Knowledge of setting work priorities
