About the role

The Cleanroom Automation Technician operates automated manufacturing equipment to create products focused on patient safety and quality. They are responsible for setting up, tearing down, and cleaning equipment, maintaining cleanroom conditions, ensuring equipment validation, assessing equipment performance, coordinating supply needs, documenting batch records, and performing gowning standards.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain automated filling equipment.
  • Perform setup, teardown, and cleaning of automated equipment.
  • Maintain cleanroom conditions by gowning, sanitizing, and adhering to cGMP practices.
  • Aid in troubleshooting equipment issues and ensure assigned equipment validation activities are up to date.
  • Take inventory to identify components needed for production batches.
  • Communicate with compounding and dispensing teams to obtain supplies and coordinate with aseptic and post-production teams.
  • Document batch records, lumacs, and cleaning logs appropriately.
  • Maintain gowning standards through semi-annual assessments.
  • Follow SOPs for equipment qualification, including media fills.
  • Log in and out for each shift.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent with one to four years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with automated equipment or manufacturing lines preferred.
  • Knowledge of and compliance with cGMP regulations preferred.
  • Ability to gown and pass gowning qualifications.
  • Positive and professional communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One to four years of previous work experience in a hospital, manufacturing production environment, or aseptic filling.
  • Knowledge of and compliance with cGMP regulations.
  • Ability to gown and pass gowning qualifications.
