Job Overview The Temporary Cleaning Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment in accordance with company procedures and cGMP requirements. This position performs routine cleaning and housekeeping duties within manufacturing work centers and control rooms to support safe, efficient operations. This position does not operate manufacturing equipment or perform manufacturing processes but plays a critical role in maintaining production readiness and compliance. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize manufacturing work centers, control rooms, and designated production areas according to established procedures.Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and wipe down floors, walls, equipment exteriors, work surfaces, and common touch points.Remove trash, recyclables, and production waste while following proper disposal procedures.Restock cleaning supplies and notify supervision when supplies require replenishment.Maintain clean and organized workspaces to support cGMP compliance and operational excellence.Clean windows, doors, cabinets, desks, chairs, and other facility furnishings within assigned areas.Assist with cleaning during equipment changeovers, shutdowns, or maintenance activities as directed.Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards.Report damaged equipment, facility concerns, or safety hazards to supervision.Support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain an organized workplace.Perform other cleaning and housekeeping duties as assigned. Qualifications/Skills Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions.Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality.Ability to work safely in a regulated manufacturing environment.Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.Ability to bend, kneel, squat, reach, and climb stairs throughout the workday.Ability to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels. Education, Experience & Licensing Requirements High school diploma or GED required.Previous industrial, manufacturing, janitorial, or commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required.
