Cleaning Tech I - Day Shift - SC

About the role

To clean products following Arthrex Manufacturing, Inc. processes and procedures ensuring superior quality is delivered to internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Performs In-Process Cleaning and Passivation of products and components in accordance with work instructions
• Performs terminal cleaning and daily housekeeping utilizing various cleaning and disinfecting agents
• Performs manual device assembly
• Completes necessary documentation with accuracy and minimal errors
• Follows and executes work instructions with minimal errors
• Notifies Crew Coordinator or Supervisor of any safety or production issues

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• At least 6 months of manufacturing experience related to assembly, cleaning, and/or passivation

Skills

• Ability to perform written tasks by reading, understanding, and following work instructions provided
• Use Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) as required
• Ability to work independently when necessary
• Proper use of Good Documentation Practice (GDP)
• Comprehension of Crest COC9, Crest Ultrasonic parts washers, DURR Ecocore parts washer, and occasional operation of specific equipment as trained and assigned
• Ability to follow written, verbal, or packaging instructions with several concrete variables
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables
• Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles required for the job
• Ability to comprehend and apply language skills required for the job
• Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to team members and management
• Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures

Physical Demands

• Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
• Visual acuity necessary to perform the job safely and effectively, including close vision

Work Environment

The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
