About the role

The Cleaning Technician supports the facility by performing duties that ensure compliance with all environmental, safety, and good manufacturing practices. This role maintains a clean and professional facility through daily cleaning tasks and equipment operation.

Responsibilities

  • Clean plant floors daily using floor cleaning machines and mopping, including operating and maintaining equipment, preparing cleaning solutions, and ensuring all areas are free of debris and spills to prevent slip hazards.
  • Perform comprehensive janitorial duties in restrooms, including cleaning and disinfecting toilets, urinals, countertops, and sinks, replenishing supplies like soap and paper towels, and mopping floors.
  • Maintain cleanliness of breakrooms by cleaning and sanitizing floors, tabletops, vending machines, countertops, and sinks, and ensuring the area remains tidy and free of food debris.
  • Pressure wash exterior surfaces, including paved areas (e.g., parking lots, walkways) and plant walls, to remove dirt, grime, and environmental buildup.
  • Paint surfaces inside and outside the facility as assigned to maintain appearance and protect surfaces.
  • Regularly remove cobwebs throughout the facility, including high and hard-to-reach areas, to prevent accumulation of dust and allergens.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of cleaning supplies necessary for all duties.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support overall facility cleanliness, safety, and operational needs.

  • Physical abilities: Meet physical demands, including static pull strength of 84 lbs., push 60 lbs., and lift 50 lbs.
  • Technical skills: Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and sanitation procedures for different surfaces; ability to use various cleaning tools and supplies.
