Cleaning Shift Lead

IFS, the union affiliate of KBS and the largest private provider of facility services in North America, offers an immediate full-time opportunity to join our Cleaning Services team as a Warehouse Shift Lead in Bethlehem, PA. Responsibilities

• Lead a team in a complex, task-oriented cleaning operations environment
• Provide direct support to the Maintenance Operations Center Team and IFS Field Operations Team by responding efficiently, timely, and accurately to all escalations
• Clean rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, break rooms, and other work areas as needed
• Follow the cleaning supervisor task process flow diagram
• Familiarity with call support, working directly or splitting shifts between team members, and leading the shift by successfully covering daily operations schedules
• Provide feedback on ongoing activities and commit to implementing timely escalation reporting procedures to the IFS management team

Requirements

• Experience in cleaning operations and distribution center environments preferred
• 1+ years in a leadership/supervisory position
• Ability to follow OSHA requirements, safety guidelines, and forklift instructions
• Positive, friendly, customer-service-oriented attitude with the ability to motivate team members and support client requests in an orderly and timely manner
• Must successfully pass IFS background check / drug test
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and chemical safe handling sheets/documents (generally in English; may have them in Spanish where state law requires)

Schedule

Days and nights vary, including weekends.
