Cleaning Clerk

About the role

We are seeking a full-time Cleaning Clerk to maintain clean, safe, and well-organized areas throughout our store while supporting a positive experience for customers and employees. This position includes cleaning and sanitizing floors, restrooms, common areas, workspaces, and other assigned areas, removing trash, responding to spills, restocking cleaning supplies, and assisting with general sanitation duties.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize floors, restrooms, common areas, workspaces, and other high-traffic areas
• Remove trash and respond promptly to spills
• Restock cleaning supplies and maintain cleaning areas, equipment, and storage spaces
• Monitor assigned areas throughout the shift and address cleanliness concerns and sanitation needs
• Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
• Support managers and team members with additional cleaning and sanitation needs

Requirements

• Must be able to work rotating shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m., including weekends and holidays as needed (e.g., 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.)
• Previous experience as a Cleaning Clerk, Cleaner, Janitor, Custodian, Housekeeper, Sanitation Worker, Commercial Cleaner, or similar position preferred
• Experience cleaning and sanitizing floors, restrooms, common areas, workspaces, and other high-traffic areas preferred
• Ability to safely use cleaning products, supplies, tools, and equipment according to established procedures
• Must be responsible, reliable, punctual, and able to complete assigned tasks with attention to detail and a sense of urgency
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and remain physically active for extended periods
• Ability to work independently while supporting team members
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred, but not required

Schedule

Full-time position with rotating shifts, including morning and closing schedules based on business needs (7:00 a.m.–11:00 p.m.).
