Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized store environment with a focus on floor care.
• Operate scrubbers and buffers; perform dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot‑clean glass and windows.
• Adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss‑prevention standards.
• Cross‑train in multiple store areas to support business needs.
• Model established customer‑experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support and embody a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Maintain all floor‑care cleanliness standards, including equipment upkeep.
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the entire store (sales floor, single queue, associate lounge, backroom, restrooms).
• Follow health‑and‑safety policies, including refilling essential items in lounges, restrooms, and the front end.
• Support and respond to all front‑end coverage needs.
• Uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day.
• Follow operational and loss‑prevention controls, including shrink reduction.
• Communicate accurately and effectively with management and associates.
• Observe labor‑law policies, including associate meal and break periods.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and operate floor buffers and scrubbers.
• Capability to multitask and adapt to changing directions or unexpected situations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; listens and responds appropriately.
• Ability to lift heavy objects, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Collaborative colleague who works effectively with peers and supervisors.
• Retail customer‑experience preferred.

Pay

This position has a starting pay range of USD $13.00 to $13.50 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
