Cleaning Associate

Responsibilities

• Operate scrubber and buffer; perform dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning of glass and windows.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to operational, merchandise, and loss‑prevention standards.
• Cross‑train in multiple store areas (Backroom, Front End, Sales Floor, etc.) to support business needs.
• Role‑model established customer‑experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support and embody a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Maintain all floor‑care cleanliness standards, including operation and upkeep of scrubber and buffer.
• Uphold organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the entire store (sales floor, single queue, associate lounge, backroom, restrooms).
• Follow all health‑and‑safety policies, including refilling essential items in lounge, restrooms, and front end.
• Respond to Front End coverage needs and support store recovery throughout the day.
• Adhere to merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
• Implement operational and loss‑prevention controls in line with company guidelines, including shrink reduction.
• Communicate accurately and effectively with management and associates.
• Observe labor‑law policies, including associate meal and break periods.
• Participate in safety awareness initiatives and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and operate floor buffer and scrubber.

• Retail customer‑experience background preferred.

Pay

This position has a starting pay range of $16.00 to $16.50 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
