Cleaning Associate

About the role

Clean Team Inc. is hiring an EXPERIENCED GENERAL CLEANER to clean a SCHOOL FACILITY in the Columbus 43214 area. This position involves cleaning classrooms, restrooms, hallways, common areas, and other areas throughout the school. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, teachers, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms and assigned school areas
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
• Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms
• Dusting desks, furniture, shelves, and other surfaces
• Emptying trash and recycling
• Cleaning hallways and common areas
• Restocking paper products, soap, and other supplies
• Keeping cleaning equipment and supplies organized
• Following school cleaning and safety procedures
• Reporting maintenance or supply concerns to your supervisor

Requirements

• Commercial cleaning experience is required
• At least 18 years old
• Valid driver's license
• Dependable and punctual
• Professional and responsible
• Comfortable working inside a school environment
• Respectful around students, teachers, staff, and visitors
• Able to work independently and follow directions
• Able to stand, walk, bend, push, and pull throughout the shift
• Able to lift, push, or pull up to 20 pounds
