Cleaner (SG5)

Duties

• Clean assigned areas in State buildings and surrounding grounds and walkways.
• Work independently or as part of a cleaning team in various settings such as administrative offices, classrooms, hospitals, laboratories, living areas, and treatment facilities.

Qualifications

• Must be physically able to perform the tasks of the position.
• Must understand and carry out written and oral instructions.
• Must meet the posting qualifications required.
• Must meet the legitimate operating needs of the department or agency.
• Must have the ability to perform duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.
• A valid NYS Driver’s license is required.
