The hourly pay range for this position is $19.50 - $21.00 per hour.
Schedule
Mon - Fri + Weekends, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
About the role
The Lead Cleaner oversees the daily cleaning tasks of the janitorial team while keeping assigned areas—such as offices, commercial spaces, industrial spaces, or institutional buildings—in a clean and orderly condition. You will collaborate with fellow employees, clients, and all levels of the organization. You are expected to understand and follow verbal and written instructions and explain task completion using basic communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
- Perform work assignments in a team with other employees
- Solve minor cleaning issues
- Direct special cleaning projects
- Train new employees on cleaning procedures and chemicals
- Follow all company procedures, policies, and rules
- Take direction and respond to supervision
- Communicate professionally with the team, co-workers, managers, and customers
- Fill in during staff shortages
- Support the Cleaning Manager in completing punch-list items
- Use proper personal protective equipment
- Present a professional appearance and conduct
- Understand reporting systems and the environment
- Stock and inventory supply closets
- Vacuuming, edging, and dusting
- Cleaning and stocking restrooms and breakrooms
- Window cleaning
- Emptying trash and transporting to proper disposal area
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Assist the Cleaning Manager with day-to-day operations
- May perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
- 2+ years of commercial janitorial experience
- Understand that safety is a top priority and comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures
- Must be a team player and committed to working in a fast-paced, quality environment
- Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
