Responsibilities
- Build strong rapport with residents of the community.
- Clean offices, bathrooms, amenity spaces, and common areas daily.
- Clean office spaces on a regular schedule set by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Using the apartment cleaning checklist, clean vacant apartment homes after each move-out.
- Clean and organize the pool house, including straightening chairs on the pool deck, cleaning public bathrooms (including showers), and vacuuming and dusting amenity spaces.
- Remove used towels in the pool area and replace them with freshly laundered towels daily.
- Maintain all cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Assist in removing debris from outside public spaces, amenity spaces, and common areas, and empty public trash cans.
- Clean elevator cab, lobby, and door tracks as regularly scheduled by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Comply with all company policies/procedures and Fair Housing laws.
- Perform additional tasks as needed to meet the organization’s needs.
Requirements
- Customer service-focused with the ability to work effectively with the site team to carry out daily housekeeping needs while building rapport with residents.
- Team player who takes a “we over me” approach to building and sustaining relationships.
- Determined, ambitious, and self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills; proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
- Janitorial experience in hotel or residential management is strongly preferred.
- Computer skills, including email, Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to navigate web-based trainings.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as necessary.
- High School diploma or equivalency certificate.
- Reliable means of transportation.

Pay
Competitive pay, $21–$23 per hour (based on experience). Quarterly bonus incentive. Annual performance review with potential merit increase.

- Weather: working both indoors and outdoors with frequent exposure to extreme weather conditions/temperatures, including uneven and slippery surfaces.
