Cleaner/Helper, East Jerusalem, State of Palestine (LICA)

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning tasks: Floor maintenance (sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping).
• Surface disinfection (desks, shelves, high-touch areas).
• Trash removal and sanitization.
• Cleaning and disinfection of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas, etc.
• Monthly deep cleaning tasks: Deep carpet cleaning and tile scrubbing.
• Window washing (interior and exterior).
• Wall, ceiling, and fixture cleaning.
• High-dust area cleaning.
• Sanitization of staircases and handrails.
• Other duties including support in catering and hospitality arrangements.

Requirements

• Completion of secondary education is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in cleaning, preferably working with international organizations.
• Ability to work independently and have a knowledge in cleaning and detergent materials.
• Proven work experience as in an international organization or embassy is an asset.
• Handy and able to provide maintenance is an asset.

Skills

• Fluency in Arabic and working knowledge in the English Language.
• Working knowledge in Hebrew Language would be an asset.
